A 12.5" x 16.5" original screenprint, Losing Connection to Nature, on heavyweight paper. Comes with a white, plastic, plexiglass frame.
Created in one of my screenprinting classes, this piece explores the connection we seemed to have lost with nature due to more surface, materialistic things brought on by 20th century urbanization (featuring New York City). This is emphasized by the color-shift seen in the cityscape based on light angles, achieved by using interference ink, and representing something 'shiny' and desirable.
